Our vision is clear. We do not judge success by size. We have not set our sights on building the largest office network. Nor do we harbour ambitions to have the highest number of partners or fee earners. We have a singular desire to be the best law firm in the world. This is guided by a determination to achieve the impossible. Strong words perhaps. But the recent history and future intent of the firm are evidence of how achievable it is. We set out to create a single, integrated global offering for our clients. Our aim has always been to build complementary practices that are leading in their own right; and today there is no other firm that has such strength across so many practice areas.
We have an ambition that is shared (and enjoyed) by everyone across the firm. We have achieved phenomenal success, but change will continue to define our future. Look at how we are realigning the work of our business services team around the world. In the last two years, our investment in training across the firm doubled. In the next few, we will continue to invest in and grow our capability in the US and Asia.
