Your studies and exam preparations are a priority for us. We are therefore flexible about the specifics of your referendariat. Do not hesitate to send in a speculative application, as we offer training opportunities for referendars in all four offices and all practice groups all year round. That is why you will not find specific advertisements for referendars on our website.
We have no formal deadline for applications but you should apply roughly six to twelve months before the desired start of your placement with us. Occasionally, we are also able to offer placements at short notice.
As a global firm there are opportunities to spend time in other offices to broaden your experience. Similarly, you can divide your time between practice groups, if that is where your interest lies. Just let us know when you are applying and we will talk through the options with you.
We also offer the opportunity of working in the period preceding your referendariat or part-time alongside your PhD, should you be studying for one.
