Our summer student programme is designed specifically for penultimate year students and lasts four weeks. Two weeks are spent in London, and two are spent in Lisbon itself. In London, you’ll have a real chance to network with other European students and receive a week’s training on the law market including recent business law trends. Added to that, you’ll need to complete a project which involves presenting to lecturers at the College of Law in London, as well as the rest of the summer programme intake.
During the Lisbon-based part of the programme, you’ll be given a two-day induction, followed by time spent in a practice group doing real work for real clients. Throughout the course you’ll have a principal and a trainee buddy who will provide you with a first-hand insight into work and life at Linklaters. Our aim is to give you a true experience of life at Linklaters - so that you can make an informed decision when choosing the firm you wish to join.
