Our summer intern programme not only helps us to attract upcoming talent; it gives our lawyers the opportunity to meet potential future colleagues and most importantly lets you find out whether our firm is right for you.
Flexibility is important, so you can join us for any period between four and eight weeks, starting in July. We’ll keep you busy with real work that makes a difference to the practice and we’ll give you regular feedback so you’ll understand the impact you’re making. All in all, you’ll get a true feeling of the type of work we do and who our clients are, and you’ll gain a real insight into the team who could become your future colleagues.
We are looking for the very best. And with a limited number of places available each year, competition is fierce. There are many reasons why you should consider applying: the structured, valuable practical training, the clear programme of development and a new network of contacts, to name a few. The internship will give you an excellent grounding and a true understanding of our working culture. As testament to this, many of our summer interns go on to join us full time after the summer.
If you are right for the programme you may also get the opportunity to visit our London office as part of our global summer students’ programme.
The first step to securing your place as a summer intern is to contact us. After which, you’ll have the chance to meet the Madrid associates and partners at a cocktail event. Alternatively, you can also meet us at job fairs or through some of our many links with universities across the country.
