Graduates

Do you have what it takes to eventually become one of the future leaders of our firm? The vital ingredients are ambition, energy, confidence and imagination – essential for a rewarding career in law with us. If so we’ll encourage, support and reward your contribution, providing you with the training you need to excel. You’ll put that training into practice on high-profile projects that will test your knowledge, develop your capacity for innovation and take you to the heights of your career.

However academically excellent you are, what you get out of working here will ultimately depend on what you put in. Thailand’s exciting and challenging legal market presents a wealth of possibilities – for us as a business, for our clients, and for you. So to join us, you’ll need the commercial and technical skills to achieve the kind of results our clients have come to expect from us.

The atmosphere in our Thailand office is hard working, progressive and collaborative – while the benefits reflect our belief that high performance should mean high rewards, together with a salary structure which compares well with other top tier law firms.

We recruit the brightest and best graduates from around the world. Where you qualify will determine which route you take to joining us in our Thailand practice:

Thai Law Graduates

We recruit graduates in Thai law to help and support our growing Thailand practice. The length of your training period at Linklaters will be 3 years unless you have an LLM in which case it will be 2 years.

Common Law Graduates

We also occasionally recruit common law graduates with excellent Thai language skills and a commitment to practising in Thailand. In this situation we support your legal qualification in your home jurisdiction, then provide further training for you in London and Thailand as you study to become an England & Wales qualified lawyer. This will mean taking the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT), before returning to Thailand to practice.
