The freedom of a global stage

Marketing in London rarely feels anything less than global. While we have many teams located in many parts of the world, a great deal of our largest and most globally minded clients are based here in the capital. What’s more, much of our focus at Linklaters is on building deeper relationships with just such a type of client. For that reason, there is a real desire and demand for sharp, high-level thinking that can provide insights into – and advice for – the leading businesses, organisations and institutions we work with.

There’s no doubt this is a broad arena in which to work. And we will give you the freedom and autonomy to make the most of it. After all, we hire you for your expertise, so it makes sense to give you the support and the environment for it to flourish.

That’s why, all through the firm, you’ll see Marketing involved in cutting-edge work, and forming an integral part of the client team. For example, Marketing teams are getting involved in bedding in and developing relationships with new clients. What’s more, some clients have now been assigned a dedicated relationship manager whose job it is to immerse themselves in the workings of our clients and find ways in which we can help them still further. We also have business development and communications roles that are sector-  or practice-specific,  while our central marketing team, based in London, shapes strategy and provides advice to the global marketing community across all our offices.

Our people here come from all manner of backgrounds. What unites them, however, is a high intellectual capacity, a willingness to champion their ideas, a passion for their work, and a desire consistently to go the extra mile – for their colleagues as well as their clients. In whatever capacity you join us, there is also the opportunity to develop a real depth of skill. At more junior levels, you’re likely to gain a broad experience; but as you progress, you will have the chance to specialise and become an expert in your chosen field. And, of course, to push a leading law firm to the top of its market.
