There’s no denying the essential role that Business Services plays in our firm. This is why our approach to training is tailored to meet individual needs, so that you can benefit from a career development plan that not only mirrors and supports your progress but also enables you to deliver consistently excellent results. All essential training needs are met through a series of courses beginning, for those joining us as assistants, with foundation courses covering everything from effective teamworking to communication skills and understanding the global nature of our business.

At advisor level, you’ll attend courses designed to build and refine project management and team leadership skills. As a manager, the focus is on developing others and managing the commercial element of your function. Supplementing our core skills curriculum are a number of courses focusing on areas such as interviewing and presentation skills. Any specific needs are discussed with your manager during your annual appraisal, where you will also agree on your personal and strategic business objectives. Your input in this process is essential, as it will help to focus your future training requirements.
