Aneta Janeczek was working for a small US law firm when she decided to join Linklaters. She was attracted to the role because Linklaters is one of the best known and most respected firms in the world.

“I thought business development was a very interesting area to work in, so I didn’t hesitate to make the switch from my previous role. It’s the variety and nature of my work that really drives me, in fact I was promoted after just one year. The client list and global breadth and depth I experience have given me challenges I wouldn’t have found in many other organisations.

“What stood out for me about Linklaters was that they were prepared to go against what was ‘traditional’. And I thought this was nicely summed up by their choice of pink as their corporate colour! The brand certainly reflects the reality of life here as well. I work within a very strong team who are all innovative and creative.

“The global status of Linklaters means there’s a huge variety of people and cultures within the firm so I’ve learnt so much. Last year I spent one month in New York working with the business development team there. There’s also a fantastic support network – you’re never left on your own, people are always willing to help. But for me, the best thing about Linklaters is the adventure. I feel like I’m on a continuous journey and I’m learning every day.”
