Senay Gurel, Associate within Mainstream Corporate, recently joined Linklaters. But she’s already been exposed to a huge breadth of work.
“In 2007, I left what was in itself quite a big firm in Paris, to move to Linklaters. It was a great step up. I got involved straightway, dealing in English and with some of the most prestigious names in the industry. Even back then I was convinced that Linklaters would be good for my career. And from the initial good feeling I got from my interview, it just got better and better. A challenging job. A great team. A comfortable environment. Together, all of these things mean people’s confidence can flourish. And when you’re discovering new things everyday, it’s hard to get annoyed or down about anything. What makes it so interesting? Well, in a word: Variety. In mainstream corporate, every deal is different. And, , there’s a real chance to get involved in all kinds of different work, leading to real learning every day.
