What was your route into Linklaters?
I joined Linklaters as a part-time Managing Associate from another global law firm. I worked three or four days a week for 12 years and during that time I was promoted to Counsel, before coming back full time and eventually being made Partner. I can proudly say that I have experienced all of the various flexible arrangements that the firm has to offer.
What did you decide to work part time?
I requested that part-time working pattern for family reasons, mainly to spend more time with my children who were young at the time. I’m also a keen horse rider, which helps me to keep perspective within my job and with my mental health, so I was able to balance my professional life with my treasured hobbies.
What has made you stay at Linklaters?
The high performing culture has kept me here. I really thrive on the mental stimulation my colleagues provide, working alongside motivated, committed and talented people. Linklaters has a very supportive culture where we look out for each other, understand boundaries and everyone aims to achieve the same goals for our clients.
