Where strength meets depth

Rather than specialize in just one area, we’re proud to have leading practices in Corporate, Finance and Projects, and Dispute Resolution. The sheer size and complexity of the deals we tackle demands that we draw our teams from many different countries, sectors and practice areas.

Our Corporate division is a world leader in mergers, acquisitions, equities, joint ventures and private equity. In Finance and Projects, we lead many of the world’s most important energy and infrastructure projects. Renowned for major wins, our Dispute Resolution division supports clients through their most challenging crises. We advise companies, banks, funds and governments on their funding, hedging and investment activities.

Wherever you ultimately focus, you’ll be involved in the very best work. You’ll also be given continuous, tailored training, by experienced lawyers.

Practices

We organize our work into three broad divisions: Corporate, Dispute Resolution and Finance & Projects. The sheer size and complexity of the deals we tackle demands that we draw our teams from many different countries, sectors and practice areas. It’s this depth, flexibility and rich diversity of expertise that make us a critical resource for our clients. For you, it all promises unparalleled access to the highest quality work, training and experience.

Knowledge in every sector

Understandably, our clients want us to understand their business, whichever industry sector they’re working in. Doing so means we’re in the ideal position to provide them with the best advice. All of our clients belong to one of our Global Sector Networks, listed below. Categorizing their business in this way allows us to align our lawyers’ expertise exactly to their needs.

Across the firm, we access a wealth of in-depth sector knowledge to give smarter, more strategic advice to clients, either during deals or between them.

This means that when you become a Linklaters lawyer, you’ll hone your expertise and knowledge of different industries and sectors as you interact with clients and colleagues across our practice areas.
