I decided to join Linklaters after learning how much the firm focuses on technology and future planning. I was also intrigued by Linklaters’ truly global reach. I was used to working at U.S.-based law firms that had some international presence, but none of them were truly global.

I’ve been with Linklaters for several years now and absolutely love it. The people, the culture and great leadership are what keep me here. The respect and recognition I receive from everyone – from the most junior to the most senior of our colleagues – is just amazing.

While my primary role at the firm is focused on my region’s technology needs, I really appreciate that I am also able to have a significant impact on the firm’s culture and diversity & inclusion initiatives. In a time when Islamophobia appears to spread across the world with no restraints, I am proud to say I am given a platform at Linklaters to showcase my religion and raise awareness of the struggles of minorities from a religious, racial and cultural perspective.

I also appreciate that there are many opportunities for progression at the firm. I’ve successfully completed our Global Talent Program, which is a program designed to help develop leadership skills for outstanding performers at an advisor level in our Business teams. I’ve also successfully completed the INspire program, which is designed to help develop and retain under-represented ethnic minority colleagues within the firm. I started at Linklaters as the IT Team Leader for the Americas, and I have now taken an additional role as business manager for our tech/fintech practices and recently been promoted to Business & IT Support Manager of the Americas. I have had so many opportunities to expand and grow here.
